Congratulations David Heim and Debapam Bose and the group on publishing a fantastic result in Nature Communications today! The most widely tunable, lowest linewidth integrated laser to date. This is achieved with a silicon nitride external cavity tunable laser (ECTL) stabilized to an integrated 10-meter long coil resonator (on chip) and isolator free! This result points the way to operation at any wavelength across the visible to short wave IR, has the potential to replace table top fiber lasers for many applications, and can be further integrated with full systems on chip.
